Children’s Ministry

Children’s Church is offering two classes this year: Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd through 8th grade. We will lead worship, provide a snack and teach the students using the Engage curriculum.

We also provide a nursery for infants to 3 years old. There is no instruction in the nursery, but toys and snack are provided.

Part of the way through the worship service, children are dismissed from the service to go with their teachers. We ask that a parent brings their children up and checks them into the class. Children are then collected from the classroom by parents at the conclusion of the service. Parents who are new are welcome to accompany their children to Kids’ Church or to keep their children with them in the service, if they choose.

Gospel

Our children’s classes use gospel-centered curriculum with scripture, stories, and activities to allow them opportunities to form spiritual friendships with their peers and teachers.

Every children’s volunteer at CCC is required to have been involved in the life of our church for at least six months and to submit and periodically renew a national background check.

What are the first two questions every parent asks their child when they get home from school or church? “What did you learn? Did you have fun?” We believe learning about Jesus should be as fun as possible for all kids when they come through our doors.
